This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out activities that are prohibited when using StackPilot App, the Site, and any related services operated by Hayanlabs. It is incorporated into our Terms and Conditions and our EULA. Violation of this AUP is a material breach and may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account and licence.
Lawful Use Only
You must use the Software only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in India, in your country of residence, and in any country where the servers, third-party services, or data you touch are located.
Prohibited Conduct
You may NOT use the Software, directly or indirectly:
- To provision, host, distribute, or facilitate malware, ransomware, spyware, botnet command-and-control, or any malicious code;
- For unauthorised access, port scanning, vulnerability scanning, brute-force attacks, denial-of-service attacks, or any intrusion against systems, networks, or devices you are not authorised in writing to test;
- To send spam, unsolicited bulk email, SMS, or any communication that violates anti-spam law (CAN-SPAM, India's TRAI regulations, the EU ePrivacy Directive, CASL, etc.);
- To host or distribute child sexual abuse material (CSAM), content that promotes terrorism, incites violence, or content that is illegal where it is hosted or accessed;
- To infringe intellectual-property rights, including copyright, trade marks, patents, or trade secrets, of any third party;
- To engage in fraud, phishing, identity theft, impersonation, or any deceptive practice;
- To mine cryptocurrency on infrastructure you are not authorised to use for that purpose, or to mine on infrastructure shared with end users without explicit prior disclosure and consent;
- To process personal data in violation of DPDPA, GDPR, CCPA, or any applicable data-protection law;
- To evade sanctions or export controls imposed by India, the United States, the European Union, or the United Nations;
- To interfere with or disrupt the Software's licence-validation servers, the Site, or any other Hayanlabs system, or to attempt to gain unauthorised access to them.
Resource Abuse
You may not use the Software in a way that places an unreasonable load on Hayanlabs' licence-validation infrastructure, including by automating excessive activation/deactivation cycles, scraping our endpoints, or operating a service that proxies Software activation on behalf of others.
Responsibility for Your Servers and Clients
Because the Software runs locally on your machine and executes commands against servers you control, you remain responsible for everything you cause the Software to do. If you use the Software to operate infrastructure for clients, you must ensure that those clients also comply with this AUP for the portions of the infrastructure they control.
Reporting Violations
Suspected misuse of the Software may be reported to contact@stackpilotapp.com. Reports should include the URL, IP, or other identifier, a description of the abuse, and any supporting evidence. We do not commit to a specific response time, but we triage abuse reports promptly and may share information with law enforcement where required.
Enforcement
Hayanlabs may, with or without prior notice and at its sole discretion, suspend or terminate your account, revoke your licence, remove or block traffic, and report unlawful activity to competent authorities. Where a violation is curable and presents no immediate risk, we may give you a reasonable opportunity to cure before terminating.
Updates
We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the Site at least 14 days before they take effect.
