Hayanlabs respects the intellectual property of others and expects users of StackPilot App and the Site to do the same. This page explains how to submit a copyright-infringement notice or counter-notice under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and equivalent processes under India's Information Technology Act, 2000 / Copyright Act, 1957.
Reporting Infringing Content
If you believe that content displayed on the Site, in our marketing materials, or hosted by us infringes a copyright that you own or control, send a written notice to our designated agent at dmca@stackpilotapp.com (forwards to contact@stackpilotapp.com) that includes all of the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorised to act on their behalf;
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or, for multiple works, a representative list);
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate it (URL or precise location);
- Contact information for the notifying party (name, address, telephone, email);
- A statement that the notifying party has a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that the notifying party is authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Incomplete notices may be returned without action. Knowingly false notices may result in liability under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
Counter-Notice
If you believe content of yours was removed or disabled in error, you may submit a written counter-notice to the same address containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature;
- Identification of the material removed and its prior location;
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification;
- Your name, address, telephone, and email, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts at Hyderabad, Telangana, India, or - for users outside India - the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located.
Repeat-Infringer Policy
Hayanlabs will, in appropriate circumstances, suspend or terminate accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers of copyright.
